Hi, everyone! Welcome to my first post on AllThingsTech!
I’m Sam, and I’m a fresh-out-of-college tech guy, ready to give you a little glimpse into my thoughts on the world of technology. I’m an Apple user primarily, but I like to keep up with the wide world of tech, focusing mostly on how the technology interacts with our daily lives. I’m a strong believer in the notion that technology should work to enhance the world in which we live, not seek to replace it.
I have been spending my days finishing up my masters degree in Information Systems as well as working on some personal projects like my website. With these projects, I like to do everything from design, to programming, to systems administration. I’m currently focusing on strengthening my web development skills, but I have a few projects in the pipeline working with Swift and Rust as well. I’m even getting into some 3D design work as well using Spline.
I tend to focus on the “why does this matter to the average person” element of the tech world, but I also don’t shy away from some of the lower-level tech talk either.
I’m also an avid musician, mostly playing guitars (primarily bass guitar, which IS a guitar, btw). I like to compose, arrange, perform, and record music whenever I get the chance as well.
